Monzo Flex still not reporting to Equifax after ~4 years – can we get a clear timeline or solution?

Hi,

It’s becoming quite frustrating and I’d really appreciate some clarity from the Monzo team why monzo flex is still not reporting to Equifax.

I’ve noticed that since at least February 2022, every new thread about this receives essentially the same response:

“We’ve been reporting to TransUnion and Experian since we started Flex but we’re still going through the onboarding process for a new portfolio which takes some time. It’s likely this will be completed in the next few months and you’ll see Flex on your credit report then.”

However, it’s now been almost 4 years, and nothing has changed. At this point, “next few months” doesn’t feel realistic anymore.

Could Monzo please provide a concrete timeline, or an explanation of what’s blocking this, or confirmation if reporting to Equifax is no longer planned?

Thanks in advance — I love using Flex and Monzo overall, but this gap in credit reporting is a big downside.

You won’t get a definitive timeline.

Monzo typically provides broad timeframes and may shift priorities or resources.

Just to provide a contrarian view, I’d much rather Monzo didn’t report to any credit bureau without my positive consent.

Isn’t it covered under the “we may share your bla bla with credit reference agencies”. So in theory they could pick and choose who they share with as you accepted on account opening.

That’s not my point. I was expressing a global preference not making an observation about the Ts and Cs.

Does that exist anywhere?

What reasons wouldn’t you want them shared to all 3?
