Signed up a mate last night, in app said user number 1.9m odd.
I don’t think that number takes into account closed accounts etc.
The numbers aren’t reused.

Oh for sure, but just goes to show that we are getting closer to two million active accounts. Imagine being user number 2,000,000!!

A good rate the last 3 days, wonder if that’s due to the Bank Holiday and being no post.
Just on that note, as well as adding daily totals, I’m going to include Bank Holidays marked ‘B/Hol’

Is there any where on the site or external to keep an eye on how many people are signing up and switching to Monzo on a weekly basis?
Yes!
It’s a third party site, so not endorsed by Monzo whatsoever, but it’s a great tool to look at Monzo’s growth over time.
It takes the current # of users (the same number on the homepage of monzo.com) and keeps track of it over time.
Side point: the last time I heard, Monzo counts activated users and discounts deleted accounts. An activated user is considered to be a user that has activated their debit card, either physically or through Apple Pay/Google Pay. So it should be a fairly accurate number.

The poster campaign is causing the growth rate to catch fire 
Well over 6000 sign ups yesterday.
With national tv ads rumoured to be around the corner, will we soon see daily signups in the tens of thousands?
