So Monzo decided to close my account which is fine - I’ve seen Monzo do this randomly with a lot of different people.
The issue is, I had a sum of £1,440 and before my account was properly closed, Monzo asked for details of an account they can transfer the money to in 2-4weeks. I obviously gave those details. However, it’s been 2 weeks since then and Monzo has permanently closed my account and the money hasn’t been transferred to the account of which details I gave.
I call customer service but it just rings out? I have emailed but Monzo are notorious for taking ages to reply to emails.
How long can I expect to wait? How can I get my money? Has Monzo just taken my money for themselves?
They haven’t taken the money for themselves. If they said 2-4 weeks, it’ll likely take 2-4 weeks. If it’s been 4 weeks and you haven’t received it, you can email them asking to raise a complaint.
