I tried setting up my card with PayQwiq today but it was rejected
This now works was my bad
Ive just received my card in the post today, and tried to add it to my PayQwiq app, the one tesco use, and it keeps saying “the postcode is not the one registered with the card”. Add to that, it keeps charging me £2 each time i try a register it. Been on the phone to tesco, and they’re saying i should be refunded within 5 days, but i really want to get the card up and running on the app. I work for tesco, so i get the staff discount, and the app is a god send.
Any help would be much appriciated.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having this issue, there’s a couple of topics from users that’ve said that they’ve managed to get the card set up with PayQwiq but it’s obviously not a straightforward process
If you ask the Monzo support team, via the in-app chat, then they will be able to reverse the authorisations for those active card checks (the £2) charges which will reset your balance.
If you manage to figure this out, it would be great to hear what the solution is
