I wonder if we’ll hear more at the next Open Office?
Can’t wait to see more of this / how it progresses.
The home screen is due for a refresh IMO.
Although I was originally against the removal of the pulse graph, I feel it’s now time to say goodbye in place of something better.
I just made that hot chip as I placeholder while I worked on some things… More to be revealed v soon
I’m just looking forward to it, and yep things need a tidy up, and I have a lot of trust in the team to get it pretty much right.

Do we actually know when 3.0 will be released?
#scrapthegraph looks like it may actually happen
I wonder how they’re going to integrate the new notification widget banner into this

I really hope that the summary/budget page is improved and updated to include weekly budgets, hopefully the spend categories also get an overhaul…
As more fintech competition comes about, Monzo really needs to make this update a useful one not one of unwanted features and gimmicks
As ever, ‘useful’ is in the eye of the beholder so there are probably as many definitions of that as there are customers.
I’d love to be able to have a euro account for cryptocurrency!
I’m the same about the pulse. I like that you can use it visually scan back through transactions but it’s a bit clunky. I think it could be improved without scrapping it entirely, but if they’ve come up with something more user friendly I’m not gonna worry too much.
This is my one fear, it’s great hearing about all the cool stuff they are doing for the unbanked and helping anyone get an account, but selfishly I want them to be better than my current bank.
Stuff like US expansion, new graphs are super interesting, but doesn’t help my day to day life.
Improved support, cleaner interface, better searching and usability, etc. these are the features that my bank can deliver on that Monzo can win me over.
Either way, I always like an update!
v3 is exactly the same apart from they’ve scrapped the graph. Personally I can’t wait for this innovative step.
Thats quite dismissive on an early screenshot that literally has a placeholder image with “preview” on it that takes up half the screen
I have been quite vocal about lack of good changes and features recently but definitely think its unfair to pass such damning judgement before its even in our hands dont you think?
Also looks like the of the five current tabs have been combined into one tab, which is a pretty significant UI change.
Not having committed pots is the only thing stopping me going full Monzo.
Thing stopping me going #fullmonzo is the moving of existing IASs from my current bank to monzo, but this is coming soon.
