I don’t want to be sounding too negative though… The other improvements made this month have been great. Loving the upcoming Direct Debits and pot goals 
These things take time and will require changes to how the account functions and is managed. Got to be patient I’m afraid 
Please can we have the ability to create bespoke category names, or amend the names we don’t want and use - e.g. Family!
Please add quarterly too!

Once first DD is taken you can tag and categorise it but not before (same also goes for upcoming DDs you can’t categorise or tag until taken)
Can someone from monzo confirm if direct debits will be able to be split also? Would be very useful to keep track of who owes me for the broadband bill each month etc.

Was very nice to see my DD appear the day before it was taken! 
Didn’t really look for it… But I wonder if the pulse chart had predicted that dip too! 
Really excited for the 16-17 yr old accounts!! (Not for myself but for family & family friends)

So… If you need any testers I’m happy to offer one up 
That bill splitting looks ace, will be interesting to see how that pans out…! I’m imagining:
4 people join a ‘pool’ / ‘group’ the amounts per person can be split eventually (automatically) OR manually specified with a +/- … (Or manually entered) and then once the ‘Host’ of the pool pays, the money is automatically pulled from all parties and presented to the terminal as the full amount
And it could go green or red based on whether your split amounts add up, etc. (You’d have to enter the total bill amount though… And I guess it would complicate things sightly to work out who owes what… Unless you split evenly, which not everybody likes!)

Also: add a payee without paying them. e.g. you set up another account for whatever purpose; you don’t want to fund it yet; you may as well add the sort code/account number now to make it easy when you do.

Any news on category splitting? Naïvely it would seem to be a ‘quick win’; a couple of years ago it was ‘in the next few months’, but it seems to have dropped off all the radars?
Is it still something Monzo wants to do? I can’t imagine there’s any regulatory issue unlike for other features that might see delays, since there’s no meaning to categories outside of Monzo.

however with big list ending tomorrow who knows what’s planned in next!
