The stuff makes me heave. Havenā€™t touched any energy drink since about 2012 and never plan to again.

I like to save energy drinks for emergencies so that I donā€™t get immune to it and maybe itā€™s a placebo but the few times Iā€™ve had redbull it seemed to do the trick.

Same here - very very infrequently I might have a small red bull to perk me up if Iā€™ve had a long day/during a night out. But could never drink them regularly. I see people in the office clutching them all the time and itā€™s just bonkers to me. All that sugar and caffeine must be wreak havoc on you.

The only Guinness that I actually liked was in a pub in Belfast when I was at a conference at Queens University. It was less bitter and smoother.

That was an interesting evening - still during the troubles and the IRA came into the pub for their protection money (according to the locals from the conference that were in there with us).

The nitro cans are better than normal cans and a fair few bars but you need the widget to pour them.
