Can I transfer money to my card with an account out of UK? Or there is an app to charge my card?

You can’t do this directly. Transferwise should work, though.

You can use most credit cards for transferwise, but it’s expensive, both because transferwise charge a higher fee, and because your credit card provider will see this as a cash transaction, and charge you a cash advance fee.

Were are you based? Maybe we can suggest alternative options?

You cannot use a credit card to add funds to your Monzo account. You can use a debit card, but your bank may charge you to exchange the currency, and may add fees as well.

…but only from certain countries, e.g. Estonia, France, Germany, etc, not other countries such as Colombia etc

Your username should have told me, but I didn’t want to jump to conclusions…

This kind of rules out the usual recommendations, as neither transferwise nor revolut accept payments from Colombia, as far as I know.

The only two options I can think of are

  • open an (additional) account with a high street bank that accepts incoming swift payments, which is going to be expensive
  • try Western Union?

Hopefully someone else has better suggestions…
