Apple had to tell people how to care for their cards, maybe Monzo need to do similar?
I feel less bad about the slice in the middle of my card from the card reader in Tesco
No hard feelings. It was the way I translated it personally
Rubbing alcohol, eh?
Maybe keeping it in a glass of gin with your dentures overnight will do the trick
Do you think thay will offer different colours want to get the card but the colour is strange
My guess; No, not any time soon. If for no other reason than to keep costs down while they determine how successful Premium is.
Have monzo said how many people have gone to the paid accounts
How long is the validity of the metal cards?
Five years.
Interesting to see if they survive that long
Yāknow, Iām pretty sure most of the hand sanitisers weāre all carrying around would do a decent job of cleaning your card tooā¦
Potentially my first almost useful #QuaranTip there
After a few months now, even with being kept in a leather wallet, my card doesnāt look too bad. Itās certainly got a bit of a leather tinge but thatās on the front and the back (where itās not in contact with leather at all)
The effect is a bit like a nicotine stained wall.
My main concern though is that my card has developed a bit of a āclickā and a ever so slight bubble over the back of where the chip is. If I rub my finger over the back of the chip area it makes a click/pop sound thatās perfectly audible.
I noticed it as I was getting the card out of the wallet, any sort of pressure at all, no matter how light seems to result in a click noise behind the chip area and Iām worried this could lead to failure.
Anyone else had anything similar?
I have not had anything similar thatās strange. Might be worth making Monzo aware.
I am not a fan of the colour of the card. It would be much better in silver or black in my opinion. I certainly will never replace it. I use google pay mostly
Happy cake day!
Yeey thank you
Before they closed my account my card was fine the orange was all there
