Merge Payees doesn't show Monzo contacts you haven't sent money to

Issue: I went to merge a contact’s old bank account with their Monzo contact, as they’ve recently joined Monzo. However, when I go to merge it this Monzo contact doesn’t show in the list. Found the below quoted post and it seems to line up with this, so I think it’s because I’ve not sent money to this Monzo contact yet.

Is there a feedback thread for merging payees I think I found a bug

So merging payees is pretty slick, I was able to merge a bank account contact with a phone contact, the bug is that click on a bank account contact and click merge, it will show all accounts but only show monzo phone contacts that you have sent or received money from previously , not all the contacts in your phone book.

Details to reproduce: Have a new Monzo contact (via their mobile number/your phone book). Try to merge an existing manually added non-Monzo payee with them. The list of payees to choose from will not show the new Monzo contact.

OS: Android 8.1.0
Device: Moto G5 S Plus
App Version: 3.10.0

Went to do this on iOS and it too no longer allows merging of non-Monzo payee with Monzo payee.
