Nah, first time had anything related to Plus.
Handt needed to order a card until now, so kept my original one
I had nothing - although I did some stickers when I went to one of their functions to talk about Plus
I meant that I don’t find them as a conventional bank - sort of like Metro but without the branches. Or scandal.
I only got stickers with mine, never used them.

Paid a whole years subscription and got nothing at all. Totally ripped off. Will not be renewing as I am still owed for everything I never got that I paid for the first time around.
A lot of people who felt this way (myself included) simply outlined this in chat and got a refund. This would be the route to take and I’m sure Monzo will do their best to resolve this for you
It should have been refunded automatically, when they realised they couldn’t deliver anything promised. It’s poor customer service to continue taking payments even though you have already complained via chat. When they do release it again it should include a discount for existing members that already paid for the service that wasn’t delivered the first time around. That would be the right thing to do.
I kind of agree but all of what you’ve said has already been discussed and to be fair I side a little more with Monzo that a blanket refund is not the way to go.
It all depends on which version of Plus you’re on, which package and if you switched to the new version or not to name a few. Some people are happy and still get their moneys worth too so they want to stick with it
Did you not get an email about it all when Plus was cancelled? Or get asked in app to switch to the bundled offering?
Not wanting to be rude, but why has it taken you so long to realise this? It has been over 6 months.
I do kinda agree about the blanket refund not necessarily being the best thing.
I never got any email about it being cancelled, that would have been helpful. The first I knew was when I contacted via chat.
The only reason to mention this again now, is the annoyance that money is still being taken for something I never got.
My main question is Monzo going to recognise all the people that didn’t get what was promised the first time around when they rollout the new version of plus? It wouldn’t be so bad, if we are offered a discount when the new version is rolled out.
I want Monzo to succeed as much as everyone else, I wouldn’t have invested if I didn’t. But, that doesn’t mean it should charge for something, not deliver it and not correct the mistake or offer an apology.
It’s odd that you didn’t hear anything, I’d certainly add that to your complaint. There was an apology and a promise not to make the same mistakes by involving the community more in the next one but it sounds like you didn’t get that either
To end on a slightly more positive note, the new Plus is ready to go however it is on hold until the pandemic is over and things return to normal. If you’re interested you can read up on it in the below topic

I think I’m done moaning now. We all have our moments, and mine was triggered by seeing yet another payment for Monzo Plus being taken.
Does anyone know why shelved the alternative custom app icons from legacy Plus?
If I remember rightly, there were blue, gold, red and silver options, as well as the standard logo, and a Pride icon - which is still available.
The text “We love that you’ve been a part of Monzo’s growth, so we created special app icons for you to choose from ” could apply to all customers (and especially community members!), so would love to see these return!
True, I was grateful I got to keep my midnight blue card!
It would be great if they could return as part of the basic account, and not be a premium feature, but that’s just my opinion

Jesus, thats scary, I must be going senile at 46. I have no memory of that. I’ve still been for paying it! Could have saved myself over £21 since then.
They’re still there. Gold is for crowdfunding investors. The three Monzo Plus cards have corresponding custom icons- Coral, Blue, Midnight Blue.

Why have you got 2 plus icons? I thought you only got the one that matched which card colour you chose?
