Joint account pots not showing

We have just set up personal accounts and a joint account, I can see the option to create pots only in our personal accounts not in the joint account.

When I create a pot in my personal account it does give me the option of personal or joint but even when selecting joint, nothing shows in our joint account.

What is wrong?

Nothing shows having gone through the whole flow?

Nothing below the top section where it shows your account details, I have contacted Monzo and they are investigating as something clearly wrong with app.

Pots don’t show at the top. Scroll down, nothing there? Are you personal account pots there?

Yeah I know they show at bottom as they are ok on my personal pot, so bizarre. Thanks for replying :slightly_smiling_face:

Have you tried deleting the app, RESTART (important) and reinstall?

In the pots … menu, tap edit layout, they’re not just hidden are they?

I’ve tried that, but it still shows the same blankness in joint account.

No option to see pots so can’t hide them there.

Monzo changed this with the last UI update (for the worse in my opinion), but you can change it back to the old ways, otherwise it just shows all your pots regardless of whether they’re solo or joint.

Do this:

Scroll down to pots > tap the 3 dots > view as list

It’ll then identify which pots are from which account more easily.

My joint account shows nothing.

Personal shows the savings pots for both, but the savings pots don’t show in the joint account (even though I set them up as joint)

It seems to be an issue as Monzo have sent to specialized team.

They’ve been unified together for ages now, that’s what I’m saying.

They’re all just in a row for both of your accounts.

As above; either change to list so you can read which is which or using the images (default in the app now) just shows them all in a row.

But how would my husband see the pots in our joint account then?

It’ll say which account they are for just underneath

I wouldn’t hold out much hope of Monzo “fixing” it for you

It makes no sense though, what is the point in having a joint account to have shared pots and only the person that set them up can see them under their personal account.

I’ll see what they say tomorrow, what a farce!

Thanks you both for replying :slightly_smiling_face:
