I wonder what are the main functionalities of the Monzo joint account. Can a couple take a loan together via the joint account? are there mutual savings options? Would appreciate your help, thanks
You can’t get a joint loan.
Essentially joint accounts are just like your normal account. You have pots, direct debits and so on but no overdrafts, loans or Monzo Plus.

thanks! I’m not familiar with the Monzo account yet. Do you mean that only in Monzo plus there are loans, credit card etc, don’t you?
You each need to have a personal account in order to get a joint account.
I’d suggest that you open a personal account first, familiarise yourself with it - then consider a joint account.
