Oh I’m looking forward to my blue pro even more now. That looks much better than Apple’s website renders which make it look more of a cyan/sky blue.

One thing I’m really not a fan of, with the jump to OLED the regular 12 no longer has the old plus size view.
You’re stuck with the regular view, which seems like massive waste of real estate, and negates (one of) the point(s) of a big phone.
Yep! For me, graphite coloured phone, colourful cases! Because I change my mind about things like colour a lot.

I know. Which is one of the things that’s made the phone smaller. Just really not a fan.
All those pixels, it’s going to look fisher price to me with those huge icons.

I was wondering that! Also, I wonder whether the squared off edges will actually be comfortable to hold without a case, I suspect they may need a case just to grip properly (remembering the days of the early iPhones)

Well I’m sending my clear case back. Far too slippery.
Because of iUP I’m less worried about the little scratches. Resale value isn’t an issue.
Okay. I blame having a day off work. But I spent an hour making some appropriately sized cardboard cutouts, realised I actually prefer the standard version, watched that Verge review, got all excited and bought one. 128gb, Product Red, collection on Saturday.
It’s about time I had something to be excited about!

@RogerB - this vid shows the wallet and a case, you can’t charge it with the wallet in place.
