Can ChatGPT watch and summarise videos? 
Also the new Mail app is annoying as anything.
Is visual intelligence just Google image search? Iām sure when I point my camera at something it just gives me Google results
Not always, it translates texts copy text from it. You can also ask it about what your looking at
I have a question for those who are using 18.1 already.
Itās expected to be on general release on Monday, and I usually upgrade to .x updates as soon as possible.
However, Iām so unfazed by the prospect of Apple Intelligence to the that Iāll probably not bother changing the language to American English; Iāll just wait till it is released in British English.
Are there any stand out features in 18.1 which donāt rely on AI?
Not really and Apple AI works in British English in 18.2
I guess maybe the wifi toggle in control centre, if you can really call that a feature

18.2 the new mail app is shite. Categorisation is all over the place and it doesnāt tell you if there are unread emails in the other headings.
Reading this glad I held off updating! I find it quite good on 18.1 and the priority stuff starts to work well after a week or so
I turned the categorisation off - nothing categorises good, ever. Iād rather it better tell me what of my existing categories things are in etc, or suggest based off that. Instead of just putting them in things I donāt care about. Disabled the Google one ages ago too.

The new wee number on notification stacks is very useful for me. If you have say 20 notification from a WhatsApp group it will show a number on the notification stack.

One of my favourite additions by far recently!
Iām always curious about folk who need categories on emails. I donāt get enough daily for that to be required 
Just an inbox of unread is fine for me. Read, archive. Read, reply. Read, set aside. About the only things I would need.

When I was waiting for important solicitor/agent emails, Iād see the little red 1, āoooh, are we finally moving?!ā āHi, hereās 1% off some crap website you visited in 2001ā = Unsubscribe
Doing that day after day after day got annoying.
Now I only get the badge when gmail thinks itās important, which it isnāt often that wrong about.

18.1 is out by the looks of it.
It is - just 321.9 MB on my 15PM.
Likewise. Conversation view can die, too, while weāre at it.
I donāt use the iOS Mail app, anyway - I use Fastmailās own app.

That sounds like the killer feature tbh. Iām fed up of sliding half way left on a notification to if it says āClearā or āClear Allā
