Only way to access the chat is to look for “Complaint” in the search engine of the Help section. That is quite a bad design as we generally have better answers than by email.

There are links dotted about. If anyone is still looking go to the help topic for ‘getting a bank statement’ - and there is a link there to ‘chat with us’
Yep, this was the only way I got in. FAQs didn’t help at all, phoned them to hear at the end they can’t help and to contact them through the app, but my button still wasn’t there.

Yes, and considering this is the ONLY way to get in touch with someone from customer service, it needs to be better located. If you call them, they basically state that calls are only for people in dire need of help!
It shouldn’t be this hard to get help.
I don’t find it that hard it’s quite logical to me at least that if I want to speak to someone I start typing contact us, much the same as I’d want to do if trying to contact s company I’d look for the contact us section
It’s not that distinctly obvious to me. A contact us button is fine, but “contact us” is not a search time I would instinctively think to search for in a help section. I’m more likely to search for terms relevant to my issue. Then proceed to become frustrated when there’s nothing related to my issue, or the related answer doesn’t solve it and there is still no clear way to get in touch. Chat should just and always be a simple to access button. While the hurdle might be obvious to jump over for some people, it’s not for everyone, and there should be no reason for that hurdle to exist in the first place. It’s bad design.

Hi, I’m having issues setting up my new card on Google Pay. This happened last time. I used help and it was fixed.
I can’t find the chat anymore. It’s not showing.

This is the second time I’ve tried to get help but for some reason my post was closed.
The image is me scrolling to the very bottom of the help tab. No chat or any way to get help apart from this community which isn’t exactly the best way to get help for bank issues.

So I found I was logged out of the Monzo app for some reason and when I logged in I had a red notification dot next to my profile picture - pretty strange I thought especially since there were no notifications. I went to the help tab to see if it’s a chat message and what do I see:
The app logging me out is still a mystery but there is now an in-app chat again!
I’m not seeing the ‘Chat with us’ link even after logging out and back in again!
Very strange… is it Plus? Is it TestFlight? Have they just clocked that I was vocal about the removal of the option?
