Why did you decide to remove investor from the top of the investor card? I would assume it would look like the other cards with words next to Monzo. Did I miss an announcement !?
Because if youâre an investor but have a âplusâ account now what? You canât have âmonzo plus investorâ. Looks odd and wouldnât make sense.
I see, didnât managed to see this and not really in the know of what is longer required.
Itâll be good if we can see designs from monzo which include where numbers etc will be embossed as well. As the designs weâve seen have been blank and not included any number which is a bit deceiving, I keep on getting my hopes of a very minimal card.
If the Joint account follows that of Plus (presuming they have the same finish) people are going to have an even harder time identifying the difference against Solo.
Based off the reports so far the word âplusâ is hardly noticeable unless the light reflects off it.
Agreed. They need to sort out how they finish the card type. As the plus is impossible to see unless it catches the right light or held a certain way especially looking at the Midnight Sky one.
In my design I removed any fancy finish and just went for a printed finish similar to the logo but just in a different shade of the card.
In my eyes, it does diminish the point of the investor card as it isnât a specific investor card anymore. It is just a normal card with an âinvestorâ company name.
However, that aside, I think you have produced an excellent set of cards!
I tend to agree. Itâs minor in a sense but it does reduce the impact of the current investor artwork (Iâm assuming itâs an embossed thing like the name in these designs but itâs not completely clear to be fair).
I say for the cards, follow the current trend. People rarely use the card number / expiry date anymore so move all that stuff (plus the name??) to the back of the card and make the front an amazing showcase of how cool the card itself is. And also make sure the investor ones really look special
