I’m in the process of going #fullmonzo and have a question to ask my fellow Monzonians.
I used the CASS a while ago to move from NatWest to First Direct, everything went perfectly except my wages were being paid into my old account, and being redirected. Now, the agreement (same as Monzo’s) states that it will notify my employer? How exactly will they notify my employer?

If it’s BACS credits then they will be notified by bacs electronically via the “AWACS” file that the details have changed however if they use manual update they may not action them
If it’s faster payments their bank will be notified by the faster payments platform and will usually automatically update the payee details
Probably best to tell your employer yourself. Then you know they know.
Some employers do ignore it though and ask that you tell you them yourself. You will get your money in your Monzo account either way but always best to tell them 
I would definitely recommend telling your employer directly through your HR function. When I initially moved my salary they didn’t have Monzo’s sort code in their payroll system. I suspect most payroll systems are now updated but it’s always worth checking to avoid any problems down the line.
