I’m in the process of going #fullmonzo and have a question to ask my fellow Monzonians.
I used the CASS a while ago to move from NatWest to First Direct, everything went perfectly except my wages were being paid into my old account, and being redirected. Now, the agreement (same as Monzo’s) states that it will notify my employer? How exactly will they notify my employer?
I would definitely recommend telling your employer directly through your HR function. When I initially moved my salary they didn’t have Monzo’s sort code in their payroll system. I suspect most payroll systems are now updated but it’s always worth checking to avoid any problems down the line.
