HSBC Verification Issue on Monzo Ap

Hi folks - I’m having an issue on my Monzo app whereby I can no longer transfer funds directly from my personal HSBC bank account (already set up and being used for years) to my Monzo account via the app. When I try to do so, it now asks for verification and takes me through to a HSBC page requiring my ID and a code via the HSBC app. I can put my ID in but as soon as I go to find the verification code on my HSBC banking app, the Monzo app page disappears so I cannot use it.

Has anyone else had this issue or knows how to fix it? I’ve tried calling Monzo and they just told me to contact HSBC. No one seems to want to help. Grateful for advice!

You need to delete the connection in the HSBC app and the monzo app under connected apps, then set the add money from fresh
