Earlier this week a company took an amount from my card, I guess they must’ve got approval somewhere, but I can’t see how this approval was given. It’s not in my payments schedule? Any suggestions would be welcome.

Did it show up greyed out in your feed first? If yes then it’s a direct debit
If you’re on iOS and tap on the transaction then scroll to the very bottom a direct debit will have the account number and sort code, a card payment just has the name and location
