If you to go to Settings > Apps > Monzo you see a list of actions that generate notification sounds, and you can change them to whatever you want!
Time to change my “Account Credited” sound to Sonic The Hedgehog grabbing some golden rings…

Will this be coming to iOS? You know, parity between platforms and all that 
As far as I’m aware, it has always been available on Android 8 - any app Implementing notification categories has this feature, it is part of the OS.

You’d have to ask Apple, since this is actually an Android feature and not a Monzo specific feature!

You forgot to add the above menu is only for stock Android. The menus needed for the above option is slightly different for everybody else. As I have several extra steps.
