I was wondering if anybody knows how much does Monzo charge for a transfer from someone’s overseas HSBC account.

Monzo don’t officially support overseas transfers. They don’t charge, but the transfers aren’t guaranteed to work and, if they fail, there’s not a lot of help on offer.
You’d be better off transferring somewhere else for the moment.
As above. What they might charge is irrelevant, I just wouldn’t do it. Look into TransferWise.
