How does spending work

Hi !
As you know in the monzo app it says underneath the balance " X amount left for X days "

Lets say the balance is £100 and underneath it says "£50 left for 26 days "

Will it allow me to spend that whole £100 money in shops or does it reserve it for scheduled payments such as direct debits and regular outgoings ? And therefore only let me spend the £50

Yes it will. The left to spend figure refers to your budget, not your money.

Just bear in mind that the £50 being earmarked by Monzo may cover some repeating or predicted payments. So if you spend the £100 and then the repeating payments happen you could end up in your overdraft.
