Any body knows that how to check my original name , because I just give an optional name so that name is now using by app also on card. So is it ok or not and also how to check. Edited section ( As while creating new account there was an area for optional name so I give my Nickname instead of original name as per Passport, so Monzo Printed my Nickname on Card as well as Showing in App to that nick name with my Last name. My Name first name is ‘Amir’ and Last name is ‘Saeed’ and used nickname ‘Aimmi’. So Printed name on card is ‘Aimmi Saeed’. Hope you all get the point now )
Perhaps I’m missing something here and apologies if that’s the case but it sounds like you aren’t sure either what your name is or what name you gave Monzo. Possibly go to the in app chat but try to be more succinct when asking your question
Guessing it’s probably on your birth certificate?

Nicknames are not legal names. Not even sure how that was allowed.
The account would have been opened with the legal name, so whatever your legal name (as shown on the ID you provided) is will be the one Monzo used. Even if you used a nickname as the preferred name
Yeah I don’t know how can they allow if it’s an Optional name. and if there is any issue comes with transaction or whatever then how they can verify my identity. If they say you name on card is different and Passport name is different…

If I’m understanding correctly the name on your card is a nickname but not your legal name? However, you used your ‘legal name’ to open your account?
Has there been any issues caused by this?
