Help with opening account

Hi, I recently had a Monzo account and they closed my account due to somebody taking control of my account and ever since then I’ve not been able to get a bank account anywhere else I’ve literally tried everywhere (starling, HSBC, Lloyds, etc.) I am 16 and I’m wondering wether I have a Cifas marker. This is making life very difficult because I am trying to get a job but everywhere requires you to have a bank. I am wondering because they closed my account weather I can try open a new one because I am really stuck at the minute, or I would like to know if I’m band and if I am weather they would give a second chance even limit my account to just a cash point card, I just need some sort of bank.

Any help will be appreciated.

This is an issue we’re not going to be able to help you with. Your best bet is going to be to ring Monzo support.
Also did you report the incident to the police?

They don’t do that as far as I know.

Maybe try a prepaid card from somewhere?

All of them require you to be 18 and cost money which I don’t have

It’ll be a good idea for you to pull your credit record from the agencies - it should show if there are any fraud markers there: https://www.clearscore.com/ (for Equifax), https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/creditclub/ (for Experian) and https://www.creditkarma.co.uk/ (aka Noddle for TransUnion/Call Credit) are the free methods.
