Just had a couple of receipts via email from 2019. The transactions in the emails are correct. Has Monzo been sorting an old email queue? Side note - don’t think I have seen an email receipt like this for many many years?
Yes, weirdly i did also get one.
And people complain about the Royal Mail being slow. This makes a first class stamp seem excellent value for money.
Ok, who deployed to prod without checking the wider branch logic
They sent another email apologising for the error.
Maybe someone should point out the importance of testing stuff to them
To be honest, this isn’t a high priority incident (testing-wise) because the impact is minimal. Yes, a random old email might be a minor annoyance or irritation, but it doesn’t break any functionality.
Monzo have always been very good at aiming to consistently maintain functionality, even in Testflight releases.
I think the comment you are replying to is in jest.
I know, but it’s still a valid point!
Just had another one… from 2017!
think someone at Monzo needs to go hide from their colleagues for a bit
This sounds like someone not checking what dependencies the code they’re working on has, and triggering an automated sub-process as a result.
Just my guess, of course
Better late than never eh?
Bit like some of the feature requests
