Soon…
Hhhhhmmmm mine hasn’t dispatched yet
Anyone else order a case? Can’t think why mine hasn’t shipped
No, I haven’t. I generally just stick to using a pop socket which I’ve found vastly decreases droppages and the need for a case.
I did just receive my store credit though and used it to get half off the Charge 6.
Phone should arrive in the next hour according to DPD
You could just hold onto it and put it towards next year’s Pixel.
But if you need to spend it, I’d recommend a Nest Audio. It was the second option for my store credit. I’ve already got one that I use every day work from home, either for Spotify or usually just listening to the radio.
If I didn’t think I’d get more use out of the Charge 6 I’d have bought a second one for the living room.
I ordered coral, of course
I meant from the Google store did any one order a case, trying to figure out why mine hasn’t shipped yet
Been using my Pixel 8 for about an hour now getting it set up. It’s a little smaller than the S22+ I had but initial impressions are that it feels nicer in the hand, which I think is mostly down to the curved back.
I’m liking it.
Yep - direct from Google Store. Mines arriving in the next couple of hours.
Yea i ordered one of the mous cases along with the phone direct from the google store. Its out for delivery with DPD but not until late this afternoon.
Annoyed mine only shipped today
So anyone got hands on experience with the esim transfer? Does it work?
I moved to Pixel 8 Pro from a Samsung Galaxy S21 and so far i’m impressed.
I too ordered direct from Google and it arrived YESTERDAY. The free Pixel Watch 2 was a good addition too.
For me it was just a case of logging into my EE account on my laptop, selected an option like replace eSIM/SIM, scanned the QR code with my phone’s camera. There was a verification text too.
It was all pretty painless.
With vodafone they killed the old esim then failed to issue a new one, and after a week of them f…ing around and multiple phone calls claiming to have ‘fixed’ it and ‘wait 24 hours for the email’ and no working phone I walked into a store and got a physical SIM in about 3 minutes.
Good to hear EE are better.
What I’m asking for has anyone used the built in transfer tool on the pixel
Quite pleased that I don’t have buyer’s remorse, in fact the phone is great. Every time I pick it up I still think to myself ‘oh that feels nice’. It’s just designed and put together really well. And it’s a dream to use, very slick and the haptics are fantastic.
Also just got confirmation that I’ll be getting full value for my trade in.
So all told, including cashback and money off from trading in my old phone, I got the Pixel 8, Pixel Buds Pro, and a Fitbit Charge 6 for £469. I’m pretty pleased all round with that.
