It’s the 8 that’s caught my eye, the Pro looks good but I don’t tend to use my zoom lens, and with 7 years of updates I’m sure most of the software differences will make their way over to the standard 8.
I’d also quite like the free buds rather than the free watch.
I’ve ordered the Pro and considering the dbrand ghost case but will wait to see what the phone feels like first.
I’m more aiming for the clear case without the yellowing and allows for an option of a good magnetic stand, not really a wireless charger anyway so that makes no difference to me.
Do it right and get Premium Google One which would get me 10% credit back on the Google Store.
Buy the Pro, get the free watch, sell it, and wait to get the 10% credit to then put towards buying the buds.
Sure I’d be ‘saving’ more, doing the above but I’d also be spending more, when in actual fact I think the standard 8 would do me just fine 
I’d also have to go through the hassle of trying to sell the watch for as much as possible to make it all worthwhile.
I’d probably still upgrade my Google One sub to Premium and then put the credit towards another Nest Audio.
Price really ramped up in the UK, disappointing that some features are pro exclusive as well, noticing this more and more. I do not want a big screen phone, so not even considering it this year.
One thing that really annoys me about the pixel charging is the charging speed. Fast to 50 then at a snails pace totally useless to be honest to give it a quick boost in the evening for example
Stops your battery getting fooked though, you can change it in settings how fast you want it to charge

It put exactly what I wanted, when I wanted it, front and centre.
Had a little play around with an 8 pro today. Feels very smooth and quick, though it would for a demo unit 
DPD have received my order details. Wonder if it will ship early.
What changed your mind?
I’m currently hovering over exactly what @Cerberus has ordered, but WiFi watch instead of LTE.

I did consider the watch but decided against it.
I might end up putting my store credit towards the Charge 6 though as I think with Google Wallet and up to 7 days battery it might suit my uses more.
If not, I’ll stick to my original plan of putting the credit towards another Nest Audio.
