Has this Pixel Superfans Discord Server opened yet? I signed up to join when I first got the email but heard nothing yet, not sure if I’ve been missed off a list somewhere so thought I’d ask here
Crazy deals at the moment for trade-ins, free buds 2 pro, 5% student (or 15% if you don’t want the buds), 3% cashback, 10% google one and £100 Amex.
Factoring it all in, it’s tempting - the fold is around £650 with my back of the packet maths for me.
This is too tempting, was going to consider an iPhone next year, but the prices won’t touch this.

They are offering £969 for a Samsung 24 Ultra, and I can buy a new one for £989, so pretty good trade in value!
I’ve not had the Discord invite yet either. I did get the superfan pixel photo ‘competition’ email yesterday though.

Don’t get too excited. I ran the beta on my previous phone. You’ll barely notice a difference. These updates are incremental nowadays.

It’s usually early evening, six or seven pm if i remember correctly.
This is the first year I’ve NOT jumped into DP1/2/3, Beta 1,2, etc. and held out for the release.
While I’ve been watching the DP/Beta release notes with detailed interest, have I developed FOMO? Nope. Not at all. The stability of 14 throughout has kept me smiling

I got badly burnt earlier in the year when they broke Google Pay, so when I got my new Pixel 9ProXL I was happy to leave it where it was.
Can’t wait till tomorrow to get the new software I’d already been using for months on my old phone.

I see they added the iOS feature offload/archive apps finally.
I wonder if a battery health status will be in 15 given they want you to use pixels for a lot longer with updates.

Caved and went for the P9Pro non XL.
Found a 15% made by google voucher, trade in with my S23 is £593 which is way more than it’s worth.

Total is sub £150 I think for an upgrade, and I was going to pay £50 for a new battery in my S23 so should be a worthy upgrade which should last me a minimum 2/3 years like my S23 has.
I really wanted to try the iPhone 17 next year with 120hz coming to the base model, but this is too cheap to turn down never say never though in a few years.
Edit: Forgot to say £95 back in google credit as well with google one!

Anyone had any issues with the Pixel Image generator. I keep reading things that you can now create images of people on the Gemini advanced package but it doesn’t seem to work when I try is. Is it still blocked in the UK or something?
