Who knows but it’s worth bearing in mind when you’re connecting to your phone to setup or whatever.

Looking forward to the convos, merch, invites, discounts.
Devil’s advocate here - I’d never touch a folding phone but the missus has had a Galaxy Fold 4 for (approx) 18 months and it’s as good as new.
It won’t be because there is enough demand for them. Plus the technology will get better and better over time.
I personally really like the idea of them but for now there are too many compromises on the cameras and they’re too expensive. I could easily see me using one and ditch having to get my iPad when I want a bigger screen.
Finally, mine is getting dispatched.
Came out weeks before the iPhone but somehow everyone is getting their shiny new Apple products quicker
Probably fits here better
Hadn’t realised that the Pixel can’t generate AI images in the UK right now due to regulations. But if you select a VPN and pretend you’re somewhere like the US it’s fine
Pixel Studio works?
Also, Google is having a birthday sale from the 27th, so the Pixel will probably get discounted.
We’re planning something big for our 26th birthday.

I’ve had 3 Galaxy Folds, (1 x Fold2, 2 x Fold3). The current one is 18 months old (at least, it was manufacturer refurbished) and it is absolutely fine despite falling out of loose pockets and car doors on to concrete several times. The only hardware problem I’ve had is a Wifi chip dying, which I very much doubt is anything at all to do with it folding.
I’ve no doubt if I tried at any point I could destroy it quite quickly, but the same is true of any phone other than those super rugged ones.
Sorry, got it now. I think I was trying through the “Hey Google” style prompt but without much luck.
Quite happy about the year of Google AI. It included Nest Aware which I already had so has given me a refund on my existing subscription pro-rata today.
Have you not heard of a scrolling screenshot?
Hi! To find out what I can do, say @monzobot display help
.
app runs smoothly here on Nexus 6, Nexus 7, Pixel 2XL, Pixel 8a & Pixel 8 Pro. There’ll be no issues on any Px9
Not particularly bothered about Starling & NatWest apps tho.
No problem with Monzo or NatWest on a Pixel 9 Pro. Haven’t tried Starling.
Loving some of the little things over my former iPhone 14 Pro
- Supports LDAC for higher quality Bluetooth streaming on my headphones.
- Intelligent lock screen content.
- Supports Vodafone’s 5G ultra network, which can be crazy quick.
- Intelligent adjustment for charging. For instance phone was forecasting it would be fully charged around midnight when I went to bed. But when I set an alarm, the charging auto adjusted to complete by the time the alarm went.
- Pixel studio is only marginally useful, but can be amusing.
I wish apple would enable lossless from phones like I think the Vision can to the Pro’s
Some kinda thing is trying to come with Apple Intelligence in December for UK but thats 15 Pro+
I think iOS18 supports it now on a few models but I am not sure which, the SA toggle is certainly on my phone with EE on a 16 Pro.
iPhone does that with bed time just as a fyi.
Keep tempting myself to go look at the 9 Pro but I know I shouldn’t
I’ve been using the 9 Pro as my main phone for a few days now and it’s a great phone, highly recommend it.
Did you move from iPhone?
I believe all phones MUST come unlocked these days.
