I sent an international Transfer on the 27th Sep but spelled the recipient first name wrong by missing out an r on the Christian name, Monzo saying the spelling on the name should not matter but Wise the transferring agent says it does - Recipient has gone to bank and although account number is correct the transfer has not arrived, We have today contacted Wise who advise for recipient to go back to his bank and reject payment, So fed up with being pushed from pillar to post I have today contacted Monzo and spoke to a lovely representative of Monzo who has now escalated the problem to the escalating payments team who will now trace the payment and hopefully return the lost transfer back to my account so I can resend it under the Correct Spelling of the recipients name - What a palaver - but hopefully now resolved, Watch this space Oh customer services number 02038720620 - Need Help - Lovely people - they will help you.
