Hi there, if I’m due a payment from Universal Credit on the 1st (this Sunday) would I just be paid the Friday or would I get the early option tomorrow?
Officially payments are made up to 8pm on the day it is due, in rare cases such as Christmas it is made via Faster Payment however the standard is that if due on a weekend, it will be sent on a Wednesday and arrive on the Friday via BACS. In such a case, if Get Paid Early is avaliable, this would arrive at 4pm on the Thursday.
@ndrw my assessment period ended the 20th and i saw my uc statement on saturday 21st of dec 2024 so supposedly they sent out payment but i cannot see it greyed out on my monzo and universal credit is always paid by bacs when will i see this
it can’t be next week friday as i never ever get my universal credit on a actual 27th i get it the 26th because of monzo and this month 26th is a public holiday so it will be the tuesday im hoping as monzo has told me its still within the time frame as universal credit has sent it out but its just not been seen by monzo as its a weekend when they sent it out which was yday i’ve live chat with monzo they said i should hopefully see it monday
Hi, if your due to get paid 27th you’ll get your UC on the 24th so Christmas Eve. Hope this helps! You can find out by looking online
