Hi everyone Just to confirm - we’re presently experiencing some problems with the app, including Pots disappearing and some payments not going through. We are hard at work fixing this, please stay tuned for updates. First time user, I am expecting monday wages to be in today using BACS but unsure as rather confused by some of the posts. I`ve got no greyed out area , question here is does this show up at 4pm or should the greyed out notification of wages be showing up earlier in the day. Thanks

Loving the Get Paid Early feature, however I feel that when you choose to receive the money the day before the date that your Summary shows (big circle with the “left to spend” in the middle) should change to reflect this…

I get paid on the 28th of each month, so now says I have my full paycheck to spend in 1 day as it hasn’t realised that thats what I have until the 28th of the next month. Its a small change but would really be worth it.

Getting paid early is destroying my budgets/summary

I’m loving being paid early (especially on Friday rather than Monday) but now my budgets are completely out of whack. At the moment Monzo knows a month budget is 25th - 24th, but now this changes every month because I grab my money before payday. You’ll see the greyed out transaction normally by 9 but it can be a bit later

Then from 4, as don says, you can claim it

I’m due to be paid on the 2nd but that’s a Saturday so money goes in on a Friday, would I be able to do get paid early today (Thursday) or will it not show up as actual payment should be Saturday?

If you are paid via BACS you’ll be able to claim at 4pm today!

You should see it in grey on your feed any time from now until midday if it is due tomorrow. Once it’s there you will be able to get it at 4pm that day.

Thank you! Is there a usual time it shows up? Daughters second birthday on Monday and ideally want to do next day delivery as we are all stuck in. Fingers crossed it’s soon!

It generally shows up around 9am - and would normally be in your feed by now, but other users are reporting delays of incoming payment feed entries and I’ve experienced delayed scheduled payments today too.

I guess the ‘moved’ Bank Holiday which is now Friday next week instead of Monday, has given banks a headache to deal with. Everything is working, just delayed. You should get the entry before 4pm and then at 4pm be able to claim it early - but only if you are paid via BACS. If you are paid via Faster Payments then it’ll probably show up unannounced tomorrow.
