Get Paid Early - Calculator 2.0

Hey monzo folks!

I made a post some years back for a Get Paid Early calculator, to figure out what day you can collect your Get Paid Early Pay Day.

It was pretty janky, using Google Sheets - so I’ve finally put in some effort to make a proper page for it that doesn’t break and looks a bit prettier.

Introducing - Get Paid Early Calculator - 2.0

I realise I’m late to the party for Christmas 2025 pay days, but thought some people might find this useful.

Like before, if you select your standard employers pay day, it should show you the Monzo Get Paid Early date/time, factoring in the BACS procesing windows, for weekends and Bank Holidays.

Would love it if you wanted to have a play with it and see what you think.

I think the logic works properly for all the bank hols between now and End of 2026, but let me know if anything looks off!

(I built this using Lovable, it stores no cookies nor collects any data - just a web interface with a calander picker)

Great job!

I no longer have to manually copy, paste & calculate the Xmas period breakdown - I can just link to this!

Haha, was mildly inspired by your long list from April! Not trying to steal your thunder though

Around November, the google sheet that I built always gets a load of notifications of “___ has left a comment: 25th December” - so finally doing something about it.

Also fun fact, I was trying to use some HTML tags to format the text of this post, and this one is on the naughty words list:

This is amazing. Awesome work.

A couple of nit-picks:

  • Selecting a date on the calendar doesn’t hide the data selector. So you get the “celebration” but you can’t actually see anything until you click off the calendar.
  • When you go to select a different date, the calendar selector resets back to todays’s date instead of the date you selected previously.
    • Example: I selected January 28th first. When I went to choose a different date, the selector was reset back to today’s date.
