Apex Legends: Control :exploding_head::tired_face:

It’s it too early to get excited?

Never heard of it

If so, I’m guilty.

Got Far Cry 6 on the D/L now.
I loved Cyberpunk, Rage, COD, Metro Exodus, Halo Infinite, Deathloop ( which did get very boring after a while )
So hope I’ll like FC6.

My 3060ti fe GPU only has 8GB VRAM so cannot run the HD texture pack. Hopefully it’ll play at 1440p nicely though

Runs good in 1440p with all ultra settings. Huge open world, amazing graphics, decent story line, really good sense of humour and an FPS. My type of game :yum: :yum:

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Absolutely fantastic. Very engaging, huge play area, great sense of humour and it’s just a fun game. Bought it for the PC - nearly fainted when I saw the console price.

I’m very excited for the next gen GTA! I’m currently playing Assasins Creed Valhalla on Series X - I’ve clocked in 249 hours all in since release!

Made it to the last fight in Forbidden West, but I’ve basically just run through the game with weak weapons and I’ve no chance beating the final boss :weary:

Fortunately there was an auto save pre end of game area, but I hate nothing more than a go here get this go there get that kinda game.

Back to apex it is

I was in the same boat for the last fight and it was very punishing, but I got there in the end. It was mostly a case of dodging and surviving long enough that your weak weapons can pick away at her.

I’ve not practiced with many other weapons and don’t use the valor thing or whatever it is

Plenty of time to try now though and improve all weapons.

The game we are all really scratching to play :black_cat:

I only recently started playing Destiny 2 and I’m surprised I didn’t start playing it five years ago when it came out. There’s so much to do and progress towards and extremely fun to play, especially with friends

I can definitely see how more of the enjoyment can come from the seasonal stuff and I completely agree that it could end up becoming like a second job (cough World of Warcraft cough). If it ever gets to that point then I think it’ll be time to go onto the next game!

I never got around to playing Sea of Thieves but love watching people play it on YouTube. I also play CSGO and Valorant and have spent waaaay too many hours on them!

I loved that if you owned Hitman 1 and/or 2, you could play all the levels from them in Hitman 3 - which was fantastic for PS5 as it updated those levels to much smoother graphics and gameplay.

Didn’t even know the two were linked. That comment though. :joy:

That would be because… they’re not.

It’s a show based on a comic book by Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba. There’s no connection to Resident Evil’s Umbrella Corporation.

I’m the back of my mind I knew they weren’t

I find the above show a little dull.

I loved the comic book. I really want to watch the show but haven’t managed to yet, because there’s so much content on all the streaming services that it’s almost pot luck which shows I actually manage to watch (and perversely, the shows I’m really looking forward to get shunted to the back of the queue because I keep thinking ā€œNo… I shall save this for when I can really appreciate itā€).

But the above paragraph perhaps better belongs in the TV thread! So, gaming-wise, I will say that I had good intentions earlier this year to make the most of Stadia (after getting a controller/chromecast pack for Christmas), but I always seem to end up playing Wreckless and nothing else. So I might be better off cancelling Stadia for the time being instead.
