First Transaction not Showing

Hello there! I activated my card a few days back, and did my first transaction yesterday, however my balance is still £100

Tried to force quit and reinstall the iOS app, no luck!
Any help would be appreciated, thanks so much :slight_smile:

sometimes turning the actual phone off and on solves this problem ?

Where did you make the purchase? If it was from an online store like Amazon, for example, the merchant will not charge you immediately (Amazon charges you when the order’s shipped)…

iTunes too. Although the delivery is as fast as your internet connection, they usually take several days to charge the card.

Thank you for this guys, however it was in Planet Organic in store, I tried again in Boots, and it worked fine (and now shows that the money went down). Not sure if it is a matter of time as you are suggesting!

Thanks for the update, assuming that the store’s terminal was online, that transaction should have shown up straight away so I’d ask the support team about this either via the in-app chat or by emailing help@monzo.com.

In the 4+ months that I’ve been a Monzo user, this has never happened to me.
