I get this, unless you get the sign in screen after this step
Itâs the second screen I see after clicking international transfer in the bank transfer screen. It would come in at 5 seconds in the video linked to by @awjdean a few posts back
Have you tried contacting support as suggested by the small text at the bottom of the sign-in screen?
No. I donât need it at the moment and have a Transferwise account. Was just confirming the earlier report.
I have just found this feature as I needed to pay a deposit on holiday accommodation. Can anyone explain why it is impossible to enter the foreign currency amount you need to pay, rather than spend time estimating how much sterling will cover the foreign currency amount?
Because it was released half finished?
You can do this via the Transferwise app.
I seem to be able to send USD to Qatar - but itâs asking me for a ârouting numberâ and âaccount numberâ. Whatâs the difference? Do I just put the IBAN for both of those?
I donât know anything about the banking system in Qatar, but in the US, a ârouting numberâ is like a sort code, and an âaccount numberâ is like an account number.
Used this for the first time today. Three things that were frustrating:
- When I put in the contact name I used a non-latin character, but didnât find this wouldnât work until the IBAN screen. When I then went back to change it (based on a error formatted something like IBAN.conact_name.invalid.char) and updated it, all the subsequent information had been lost and had to be retyped.
- Typing in the amount I wanted to send in pounds, not the amount I wanted them to receive in Euro.
- Iâm not sure how long to expect for it to arrive, based on the information given in flow.
Other than that, a pretty nice way to be able to send internationally within the one app.
