Feedback: Joint Account testing

Isn’t that the point of this testing phase, to figure out how things work and answer questions?

Shared pots were moved back as there was huge demand for joint accounts instead.

Yeah I much prefer getting iterations of features and know they are coming. Than waiting for an all or nothing feature.

Don’t get greedy. Monzo has spun on a dime to bring us Joint Accounts. At the beginning of the year their 2018 plan didn’t have Joint Accounts in it at all - and yet, after taking user feedback they’ve quickly reoriented themselves, and very, very quickly brought us Joint Accounts. Shared pots will appear in time, but having somewhere shared to stash unused money is much less important than having a shared account for all your spending, budgeting, etc. Just be patient :smiley:.

Agreed!

This is a frustration with both the joint and single accounts. Plenty of other banks allow Apple Pay to work before the card has even shipped, amazing for having a working card very quickly.

I’m already on TestFlight so I was able to apply for the Joint as soon as the email came in. My GF isnt on TestFlight, she is on “Public”

She has deleted the Monzo App, installed TestFlight, but its asking for the Redeem Code. Where would she get this from?

Just opened our joint account :smile:. Going to move everything over tonight.

Also spotted I can set an overall budget in the TestFlight app! That and joint account means I’m going #fullmonzo!!

I filled the form in within a couple of minutes after the Android post was made on Twitter, several hours later they said they were still looking for people, yet I’ve had an e-mail that says I didn’t make it into this round because there was only 100 places…

I had the same issue, I messaged Richard directly. Turns out I put ‘.con’ at the end of my girlfriends email and they auto filtered us both out because her email didn’t match any email they have with an active account.

Edit: he moved me back into the list when realised what had happened.

So can people on different platforms test the joint account or just people on the same platform?

I’m trying to schedule my rent for next month. It keeps failing, I haven’t added any money to the account or activated my card yet. Should I be able to schedule this payment though or is it failing because I’m jumping the gun?
