That’s like your employer saying this months payslip contains a surprise, income tax and national insurance
It’s all part of the hype though, get people excited in anyway possible.
It’s a huge part of Monzo’s annual marketing push, they tend to trend pretty high on Twitter with #YearInMonzo.
Incidentally, I’ve managed to find Year in Monzo, but it’s all locked till tomorrow

Nah. They tend to do it a bit later, think it was the 8th or something last year.
They let all the other “year roundup things” get shared that other companies do. Then hit their own wave shortly after.
It works as a huge push for Monzo. Just watch tomorrow.
