That assumes they’re faking. We can’t know that they are, though you’re welcome to speculate.
I continue to just take these things at face value and assume they’re telling the truth. I can never know with any degree of certainty that they’re not, so a combative accusation in that respect seems a bit futile IMO.
I have the first (or would it be second?) hand experience at this point to trust that there is probably more truth than lie or embellishment to the common narrative that we see of Monzo closing accounts following complaints of alleged fraud.
