So on Monday I had numerous direct debits due out, around 10 in total. I forgot to transfer money across so when it came to them being taken in the early hours of Monday morning, many of them failed. I transferred some money when I woke up and manually paid my direct debits by pressing the in app button but because of its confusing layout, I forgot one. In the past Monzo will reattempt a failed direct debit at 2pm but this time, it didn’t happen and I have missed the direct debit! Has something changed regarding this? I have attached the article outlining what happens. Live Chat were unfortunately useless and just provided robotic answers which I didn’t appreciate. Thanks
Was it direct debit or a card recurring payment/subscription?
As it was a genuine mistake of yours I’d call CS of those companies and make manual payment.
I’ve had a direct debit fail before when I updated my bank details and had to pay my Transport for West Midlands travel card manually.
