I’m paid weekly (Thursdays) and because of how our wages department works, we are always paid a day late Christmas and New Year weeks

Government Gateway allows you access to your HMRC PAYE information (current and past tax years, your employer, tax code and your monthly contributions etc), Benefits - Tax Credits, Marriage Allowance and Child Benefits as well as State Pension forecast, NI contributions. I got a tax refund via it last year.

Right guys my first post here.
My pay day in Dec is on 28th which is a say, so pay will be on 27th Fri.
25th is xmas
26th is boxing day
So will I get wages on 24th at 4pm thro early pay day feature as technically its the previous working day before 27th?

Yeha as I thought… But the chat guy was saying I will get paid on boxing day… I said its bank holiday… He is still saying I will get paid boxing day… What a joke… These guys need a lot of training

Is that how the early payday feature works with Monzo? I would have thought it would become available on Boxing Day. Would be interesting to get an official response on this

It’s (supposedly) the working day before the usual pay day. An example that was thrown around at the launch of this feature was getting paid four days early if your usual pay day happened to be Easter Tuesday.
Boxing Day is a bank holiday, so nope. Pay on 28th will arrive on the 24th.
That depends how organised the company payroll is tho. It relies on them remembering to send it early

It would be a bold company to not pay their staff on time. If they don’t do the payroll before Christmas, folk won’t be paid until nearly January.
If you are paid on the 28th of the month, and this is certain, you will be able to have the funds from the 24th.
If we have to consider too many variables then it becomes impossible to answer the question. What if the company goes bust? What if the world ends? We just have to take the question at face value - chap is paid on the 28th, so will receive funds on the 24th.
I don’t this Dwp will ever go bust its the government…
Any payment due in weekend is paid the working day before in this case Friday… So I would have thought it would be 24th as well

I am due to be paid on Friday 27th December so when could I access that via Monzo?

Same here. I get paid on 27th…so I am expeting 24th to get paid… Which is a bonus as I can do my xmas shopping
