This question is now being asked a lot. It should be:

  • Payday on 24/12/2019 is available on 23/12/2019 after 4pm.
  • Payday on 27/12/2019 is available on 24/12/2019 after 4pm.
  • Payday on 30/12/2019 is available on 27/12/2019 after 4pm.

  • Payday on 26/12/2019 is available on 23/12/2019 after 4pm?

  • Payday on 28/12/2019 is available on 24/12/2019 after 4pm.
  • Payday on 29/12/2019 is available on 24/12/2019 after 4pm.

Assuming you are paid via BACS of course.

My company pay a week earlier in December, does anyone know if summary just resets earlier and last until normal pay day in January?

I have the same question, especially as all my standing orders, direct debits and bills come out on pay day or the day after.
I will have to move everything into a pot to make sure I don’t use what can’t be used.

Mine too!

It won’t automatically recognise that your date has changed if you’ve set one though, the days to go will still be up to what would have been your usual payday.

I’ve manually changed mine for this month, will change it back after Christmas.

I probably prefer it not trying to recognise the date changing to be honest! Think I’ll put it in a pot and back on my normal pay day so it’s easier to stick to my usual budget!

Thanks for helping!

If I am due to be paid on 27th December, would I be right to think I will actually get paid on 24 December with Monzo early pay day feature as 25 and 26 are not working days?

Yes, you should have the option to get paid early from 4pm on the 24th.

If paid via BACs.

This question has been posed so many times in the last few weeks.

Of course, for others like myself, this may differ by workplace

We always get paid on 27th (or earlier working day) for every other month, but they always pay us several days earlier in December, with or without any Monzo magic

They also never tell us the schedule, so I look forward to seeing if I can get mine this Thursday!

Easiest way is to get the HMRC app. Work reports it to them a bit earlier so I end it checking it every day when I can’t figure out exactly when payday is

Interesting!

What details am I going to need for that? NI number? Anything else?

I have only ever been on PAYE, so my dealings with HMRC have been thankfully minimal

Can’t remember but details here. Did it a while ago but I don’t remember it doing a chore
