I’ve just joined so I apologise if this seems like a silly question, why does it say I have so many days left next to my balance. What happens to my funds at the end of the month if I don’t spend it all. I opened a Monzo account to save the money I’m paid in cash as it was easier than having to try to get to a bank with all that’s going on. I don’t want to pay money in if it’s going to disappear within a month.

An estimation is made, based on your expected direct debits etc, how much you’ll have at the end of the month. It’s simply a budgeting feature and nothing happens to your money, your money is safe.
Monzo is a regular bank.

Don’t worry, nothing will happen to your money - the summary is simply a budgeting tool to help indicate whether you have enough ‘money left’ until your next paycheck based on current spending.
