Mainly doing side missions instead of the main story. The Delamain taxi missions are a good earner, as are the ones the fixers will phone through to you.
Whilst you are doing those, loot any crates and dropped items and sell them back through the drop terminals.
Haha, thatās a bit weird, but not too unexpected. Itās currently quite a buggy game, although (touch wood) Iāve not experienced too many of them myself.
Apart from being told to get into a taxi that was upside down and on fire, but Iāve mentioned that already.
The Stadia version has been pretty amazing so far.
Butā¦the start of the game (Corpo start) is very āhand-holdyā, robotic and not particularly interesting. Lots of painfully boring exposition. A lot of (optional) tutorials thrown at you seemingly all at once isnāt great too - but itās been done in a fairly interesting way. I thoroughly explored the start area and didnāt find anything interesting, which was a shame.
My biggest gripe is that a lot of the game tries to be cool and edgy or extreme, which I know is the point, but a lot of it falls flat or just feels wooden.
Iām not sure I agree with that, but it is very much a fan-service game. If youāve read Neuromancer, Do Androids Dream etc then itāll feel right at home.
Rather than seeing it as trying to be cool and edgy, take laissez-faire capitalism to its logical conclusion --lots of technology, but also massive inequality and thatās cyberpunk in a nutshell.
That being said, I have bought it on Stadia (with the controller deal) and I found the game impressive and have enjoyed it immensely. I have not really had any show stopping bugs apart from one where a door failed to open on a quest and Jackie walked through it. I just reloaded and it fixed itself.
You can craft ammo, but you can also pick it up from boxes all over the place. If you are playing as a Nomad, thereās an ammo shop in your apartment building, right by the gym and the lift.
In Walk The Line, I cleared most of the baddies by taking control of the cameras and cycling though them while using the over heat hack on each of the enemies. Leaves only a few where the cameras donāt have line of sight to take care of.
Also recommend using the ping hack to help highlight any enemies you might not already be aware of.
Iām hovering around 40fps at 1440p with a 2070 Super. Then again, I do have most ray tracing features turned on, which pretty much halves your frame rate.
Iām mostly doing the side missions at the moment, as they are fantastic and a great excuse to spend more time in the city.
