While I think the Add Money button should stay, I agree that there should be a “Share bank details” (or similar) option on the Request screen.

Looks like iOS just caught up with Android. My Payments display is the same (“classic”), other than ‘PAYEES’ is at the top when “Use the new ‘Payees hub’” is enable in labs.

After playing around for a few days plus the new TestFlight:

visual refresh on the payments tab looks great, matches a few other areas of the app. However, either have the separation line or don’t throughout the app. Payments tab, payees and account list have a line, the home tab tab for transactions doesn’t.

I feel like a solid payment flow is missing. The payment tab should have pay, request, move money and the
favourites. With payees button to see all payees and payee management. -
Following on from the previous point, the payees button should only list “All”. You’ve clicked that button to see all your payees, not frequent, recent, favourites. The payees button page, as suggested above, allow removal of monzo contacts who you don’t want on there. Or at the very least, allow is to put them in “all” or “monzo contacts”. So the ones you don’t want are separated into a different list. Or hide? Similar to pots.

one other request I forgot to add, ability to not save a payee, or, the ability to only save a payee if you check a box. The amount of people my wife adds to my payees from buying things online from local buying pages is unbelievable. Nearly a full time job removing them. I don’t even want to look on her phone at her payees list

There’s definitely room for improvement in the Schedule screen of Payments, and I think the ability to set up scheduled pot transfers and standing orders should be included there.

I quite like how it works now, with only Recent and Frequent (soon to be Favourites) on the main screen and everything in the Payees Hub.
It would be annoying to go into the Payees Hub, only to realise that the payee you wanted was actually in your Recent and have to go back a page.
There is no harm, the way I see it, in having that information repeated - you want it prominent since it’s probably got the person you want included most of the time.
I’m a bit confused by your point.
If the payee you want isn’t in recent, frequent or favourite then you go to the new payee tab. What good would repeating them 2 lists again be on the top of that screen? You’ve gone to the full payee screen because your payee isn’t in them lists?
Unless your referring to the “pay” button payment flow?
Edit: Robin has said the payment tab will have recent and favourite lists. Frequent will be gone.

I prefer the slightly-tweaked layout of the new Payee Hub so I would like to get access to all my payees via this screen as an option, rather than need to go back to the Recent list or scroll through everybody who is saved.
Does that make sense?
Basically, I now default to the Payees Hub (I know that is probably not as the system is intended to be used).

With the recent and 
favourite lists, that should have most basis covered. And shouldn’t require you to go into the payee hub, as you say you do now.
Which is why I said the payee hub shouldn’t have them lists repeated. Because they are on the previous screen.
I would even say these lists should be removed from the “pay” button flow, because again, them lists were on the previous screen.
It’s also why I say there’s no clear payment flow. You can go into 4 or 5 screens to initiate a payment. It probably annoys me more than it should.

I understand your logic completely and I suppose it depends on how much you value “tidying up” the flows vs having options making it easy for people to choose how they would like to do things?
As I say, I know I’m not really doing things as would be expected, but I’m also probably not alone in that either?

What happens if you tap on the ‘Tap to find out more’ on that display?
You must be on iOS. I’ve tried the same on Android and when I tap on the feed entry, I get nothing - so you’re getting further than I can!

Had the same problem, try force-quitting the app and restarting. Doesn’t fix the ‘Tap to find out more’, but the ‘Payee’ button does then appear in the Payments section

It all looks great otherwise, but I did spent more time than I should have clicking tap to continue
If you get the sequence of taps right, a portal to an alternative universe where Monzo has a nationwide network of branches opens up. They serve artisanal coffee, but all the avocados are coral pink.
