Contacts: Display SEND instead of INVITE for people already using Monzo who haven't enabled payments

I got a little confused by the INVITE button on the Contacts feature. I expected to invite someone to connect over Monzo even though I knew they were already on Monzo. I found it a little confusing that I’m asked to send them money. Aren’t I supposed to be inviting them? Inviting them to what?

It dawned on me, realising that I would need to select a contact that isn’t on Monzo. A pre-written invite message is displayed and all is good. Nice work, Monzo!

So here’s an idea to avoid confusion:

Display SEND instead of INVITE for people already using Monzo who haven’t enabled payments.

That’s a temporary hiccup — those friends haven’t opted in to you seeing they’re on Monzo yet so we can’t show Send next to their name. But there’s a switchover period for a couple of weeks where you can still send them money which is a bit weird :slight_smile:
