Claiming a payment via Monzo Account

Hey Monzo!

My friend sent me a claim link https://pay.monzo.com/xxxxx and I noticed I can ‘Enter bank account details’ and ‘Sign up to Monzo’, but there’s no option to ‘Sign In’ and claim it directly on my Monzo account? I think this would be a great feature, and much easier to use than finding the Monzo bank account details.

Technically the link payment is for Monzo to ’ A N Other’ Bank. Which is why this had such an odd workaround.

You could have used the request feature and share your Monzo.me and your friend would have been able to pay with ApplePay/Gpay etc.

Sure, he didn’t know I had Monzo to be honest, which is why I ended up with an IOU link!

Monzo.me can be used with other banks too fyi.
