Hello, I’m having some problems with Monzo. I’m abroad and I have been charged twice the same day the same hour but different stores. Monzo insists that the merchants are the responsible and charge me twice but I talked with both and that’s not possible, so Monzo do not give me another answer and I’ve been stolen money twice
No one here can help it’s a community forum, you’ll have to continue in app chat and carry on with disputing whatever payment as been fraudulent
Banks don’t initiate merchant transactions so something has obviously happened in the merchant systems. The first objection should be with the merchant and after that with the bank if the merchant won’t help.
I’m going to close this since we’re just customers and, while well intentioned, the usual speculation that gathers around this sort of query isn’t usually very helpful.
