I have set a day to increase my payment limit as I need to complete on a house purchase but I have been asked by my solicitor to change it to the day before, to allow for clearance of funds. How do I do this. Do I re apply?
You’d need to reapply, or send 10k a day to them if feasible to meet your transfer limits in the app.
Don’t do it last minute would be my advice. Get it into your solicitors account asap, so you can focus on all the other things you need to do as part of the moving process.
Monzo aside, there are plenty of stories of people sitting around and waiting for funds to land, and the delays that can happen with checks etc. It stalls absolutely everything when this happens.
